Collaboration Leading to a Nature Paper on the Structure-Based Classification of Tauopathies

We are excited and honored to be involved in an international collaboration leading to structure-based classification of tauopathies. This classification complements the clinical and neuropathology-based classifications and allows the identification of new entities. Altogether, knowledge of the tau fold provides a framework to better understand disease pathogenesis and informs biomarker and therapy development.
